The guys of Bon Jovi are "Burning Bridges".
It's the name of an upcoming "fan album" from the band, according to Billboard.com.
“Burning Bridges, which will be released August 21st, is an album for fans and will accompany an upcoming international tour," said a spokesperson for the band. "The band is hard at work on their next album, which will see a full-scale release in 2016.”
The work will be their first band release since the departure of guitarist and co-songwriter Richie Sambora in 2013.
The lead single, "Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning," is a mix of arena rock and pop and was written by Jon Bon Jovi, producer John Shanks and Richie Sambora. The song was released "internationally" Thursday, July 16, according to the report, but is not available on iTunes. A second listed song from the album is called “We Don’t Run,” written by Jon Bon Jovi and Shanks.
It's not clear if the new album will be released in the United States. The Universal Music Japan Website states that the album is "devoted to fans who have supported Bon Jovi during the band's 30 years together."
Bon Jovi will tour China, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Abu Dhabi and Israel starting on September 11.
Jon Bon Jovi is playing the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill with his side group, the Kings of Suburbia, on Saturday, July 18. The $1,795 tickets, which include three nights of hotel lodging, are sold out.
