Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora Exchange Well Wishes on Twitter After Rumored Feud

Looks like there's still love between former band mates Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.

On Thursday, the musicians exchanged kind words on Twitter, with Sambora, 57, congratulating Bon Jovi on their new single, while Bon Jovi, 54, tweeted that he was couldn't wait to hear Sambora's new music.

"Congrats to all the guys on the new single! @BonJovi," he tweeted, adding a video clip in which he says, "God bless. Good luck. Hope you guys do great … big love."

Bon Jovi later replied, tweeting, "@TheRealSambora thanks Richie and Orianthi. Look forward to hearing your record too... all the best, JBJ."

Although there was no mention of a feud between them, the last time Bon Jovi spoke about Sambora, he toldCBS This Morning that the pair hadn't spoken in years.

"I haven't seen him in over three years. He just didn't show up for work anymore," Bon Jovi said. "And that's the truth of the matter."

When Sambora left the band's 2013 tour, he told Entertainment Tonight that his reason for leaving the band was to spend more time with his 18-year-old daughter Ava.

"My daughter looked at me and said, 'Dad, I need you.' She's getting ready to go to school," he explained. "Currency of love and happiness outweighs the currency of money."

Bon Jovi seemingly understood, as he continued on This Morning saying that "life goes on" and that it's okay if Sambora decided he didn't want to be in the band anymore.

"You know, you don't have to do this for a living – you choose to do it for a living," he added.
